We travel to the forests and mills ourselves, hand-selecting timber not just for its grade, but for its character. We look for the story written in the grain, ensuring every board has the strength and beauty to stand the test of time.

Wood cannot be forced. We work with the grain, planing and cutting slowly to preserve the integrity of the fibres. This patience allows the timber to settle into its new form, reducing movement and ensuring stability for years to come.

Our joinery combines traditional mortise and tenon techniques with modern precision. We believe a joint should hold itself together through geometry and friction, with glue serving only as a partner to the wood's own structural interlocking.

Oils and textures that honour the wood’s true self.
We reject plastic coatings that suffocate the timber. Instead, we hand-rub natural oils and waxes deep into the pores, nourishing the fibres and allowing the wood to breathe, age, and patinate gracefully under the sun and rain.
